OIL PROJECT HAZARD ANALYSIS REPORT

Recommendation:

That the City Council approve the scope of work and direct the City Manager to sign letter of agreement with the Aspen Group in the amount not to exceed $6,000.

Background:

That City Council received and reviewed a hazard analysis for the Macpherson Oil Company project prepared by Arthur D. Little Inc.. Staff was directed to obtain a proposal from a consultant to review the report and determine whether or not the issues raised in the report are covered in the various approvals that the project has received.

The attached proposal is intended to respond to the concerns that have been raised. Please review it to make sure it covers the areas that you are interested in. Depending upon any changes, it appears that this report can be returned to the City Council by your March 24, 1998 meeting.

(Note: There was no proposal included with this item for inclusion on-line as the staff items are only those that are created by staff and do not include copied letters or reports done by others. The printed report included in the City Clerk's packet was from Aspen Environmental Group and gave an estimated price of $5,720 for review and critique of the Final Report: review of the hazard analysis for the Macpherson Oil Project, and other reports.
