SPACE FEE FOR ADJACENT BUSINESS

The City Council subcommittee (Edgerton/Oakes) did not take an action on whether or not the adjacent local merchants would be required to pay a fee to the Chamber of Commerce. It appears that the fee for all vendors was approved prior to any action taken by the subcommittee and later by the City Council when it approved the subcommittee report. As this has been an issue for some local merchants, the City Council may wish to discuss it and provide some direction to staff and the Chamber of Commerce.
