MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Hermosa Beach, California, held on Tuesday, June 1, 1999, at the hour of 6:30 P.M.

ROLL CALL:

Present: Bowler, Reviczky, Mayor Benz

Absent: Edgerton, Oakes

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION:

No one came forward to address the Council at this time.

1. CANVASS OF VOTES FOR THE SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION OF MAY 18, 1999. Memorandum from City Clerk Elaine Doerfling dated May 27, 1999.

City Clerk Doerfling presented the staff report.

Action: To approve the staff recommendation to adopt Resolution No. 99-5994, entitled "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA, RECITING THE FACT OF THE SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON TUESDAY, MAY 18, 1999, DECLARING THE RESULT AND SUCH OTHER MATTERS AS PROVIDED BY LAW."

Motion Bowler, second Reviczky. The motion carried, noting the dissenting vote of Mayor Benz and the absence of Councilmembers Oakes and Edgerton.

No one came forward to address the Council at this time.

ADJOURNMENT - The Adjourned Regular Meeting was adjourned at 6:33 P.M. to the Adjourned Regular Meeting of Monday, June 7, 1999, at 7:10 P.M., for the purpose of interviewing applicants for the downtown parking structure retail ground lease.
