ACCEPTANCE OF DONATIONS

Recommended Action:

It is recommended that the City Council accept the following donations given to the Community Resources department:

The Woman's Club of Hermosa Beach	$ 150.00
Anheuser-Busch, Inc.	$5,000.00

Background:

On December 10, 1998, the City received a donation in the amount of $150.00 to be used for participant prizes for the Sand Snowman contest sponsored by the Community Resources department. The City also received a donation in the amount of $5,000.00 to be used for the Hermosa Beach New Year's Eve celebration on December 15, 1998.
