APPROPRIATION REQUEST FOR PROJECT NO. CIP 99-144:
reconstruction of the strand bikeway and pedestrian walkway
 between 24th street and 35th street

 

Recommendation:

It is recommended that the City Council approve the appropriation of $2,346 interest earned on funds received for CIP Project No. 99-144 Bikeway and Pedestrian so that they may be spent on this project.

 

Background

The City of Hermosa Beach received funding from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority for this project, which has earned interest. Finance Department has received correspondence advising that if this interest is not spent by the June 30, 2000, it must be returned.

 

Fiscal Impact:

Appropriation of $2,346 for account 115-8144-4201 to be spent before the end of

FY 99-00.
