City of Hermosa Beach --- 05-25-99

QUITCLAIM OF STORM DRAIN EASEMENT - FORMER PIER AVENUE NEXT TO GREENWOOD PARK AND RALPH'S SHOPPING CENTER

Recommendation:

That the City Council adopt the attached resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute the quitclaim of easement to Los Angeles County Flood Control District.

Background:

This easement is required because the City vacated the right-of-way several years ago. The storm drain is presently located in the former right-of-way. The City reserved this easement when the street was vacated and now this will transfer the easement to the Flood Control District which owns the storm drain.
