REQUEST FOR FEE WAIVER (PARKING LOT WEST OF ARCO STATION)

Recommendation:

That the City Council waive the building permit fees in exchange for public use of the parking lot when not in use by the church.

Background:

The Beach Cities Christian Fellowship has requested the fees to be waived and offered the public use of the parking lot they are developing west of the Arco Station. This would seem to be a good exchange. As the use of the Community Center continues to increase, this parking would be very helpful in meeting the additional demand.
