ORDINANCE NO. 00-1206

 

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH AND THE BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION OF THE CALIFORNIA PUBLIC EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM.

 

The City Council of the City of Hermosa Beach does hereby ordain as follows:

 

SECTION 1 . That an amendment to the contract between the City Council of the City of Hermosa Beach and the Board of Administration of the California Public Employees' Retirement System is hereby authorized. A copy of said amendment is hereby attached marked Exhibit A , and by such reference is made a part of this ordinance as though herein set out in full.

 

SECTION 2 . The President of the City Council and Mayor of the City of Hermosa Beach is hereby authorized, empowered and directed to execute said amendment for and on behalf of the City of Hermosa Beach.

 

SECTION 3 . This ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30) days of its final passage and adoption.

 

SECTION 4 . Prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days after the date of its adoption, the City Clerk shall cause this ordinance to be published in the Easy Reader, a weekly newspaper of general circulation published and circulated, in the City of Hermosa Beach in the manner provided by law.

 

SECTION 5 . The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this ordinance, shall enter the same in the book of original ordinances of said city, and shall make minutes of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council at which the same is passed and adopted.
