RESOLUTION NO. 01-

 

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 90-5422 TO ADD COMMUNITY CENTER LEASE RATES TO THE CITY’S MASTER FEE RESOLUTION TO BE ADJUSTED ANNUALLY BASED ON THE CONSUMER PRICE INDEX.

WHEREAS, the City of Hermosa Beach intends to adjust Community Center lease rates annually based on formulas indicated in the City’s Master Fee Resolution guidelines; and

WHEREAS, prospective tenants and initial lease agreements are to be reviewed and approved by the City Council; and

WHEREAS, lease renewals are to be approved administratively by the Community Resources Department:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Hermosa Beach approves that Resolution No. 90-5422 be hereby amended to include the Community Center Lease Rates in "Schedule 6, Miscellaneous Departments, Community Resource Department."

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Community Center lease renewals be approved administratively by the Community Resource Department after the initial approval by the City Council.

PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 9th day of October, 2001.


Amendment to Master Fee Resolution 90-5422
Adjusting Community Center Lease Rates Annually Based on the Consumer Price Index

 

Recommendation

It is recommended that the City Council amend Resolution 90-5422 to add Community Center lease rates to the City’s Master Fee Resolution, Schedule 6, Miscellaneous Departments, Community Resources Department and to adjust it annually based on the Consumer Price Index.

Background

The recommendation to include the Community Center lease rates in the City’s Master Fee Resolution was approved at the City Council meeting of September 25, 2001.

Analysis

This document formalizes the decision made by the City Council at the last meeting to add lease rates to the Master Fee Resolution. All new Community Center lease agreements will be approved by City Council. Routine lease renewals will be handled administratively with rates adjusted per the Master Fee Resolution.
