DESIGNATION OF VOTING DELEGATE & ALTERNATE FOR THE LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES ANNUAL CONFERENCE

 

Background:

As you know, the League of California Cities takes positions on legislation at the state level that impact cities. The position that the League of California Cities takes on various bills starts at the annual business meeting where resolutions are considered. These resolutions guide the legislative effort during the next year. In order for the City to participate in the vote, we must designate the voting delegate and an alternate.

 

Recommendation:

Designate a voting delegate and an alternate for the League of California Cities Annual Business Meeting on Tuesday, September 9, 2000.
