REVISED PROPOSAL FOR A BEACH CONCERT ON SEPTEMBER 19, 1998

Recommendation:

That the City Council review the proposal and determine whether or not you wish to change the approval granted at the April 28, 1998, meeting.

Background:

The City Council, at its meeting of April 28, 1998, approved a contract with STAR 98.7 for a beach concert on Saturday, September 19, 1998. The concert was subject to all normal fees and charges to cover City costs associated with the event. There was a $25,000 minimum fee to be charged for the beach venue. Funds collected would be used to improve the beach drainage.

The proposal before you now requests that the City Council modify the approval.
