OUTDOOR DINING PROGRAM - LOWER PIER AVENUE

The Planning Commission will consider a staff proposal to approve an outdoor dining program subject to guidelines and the encroachment permit process. The Planning Commission will review the program on May 20, 1997. Staff has prepared public notice for City Council review through appeal for your meeting of May 29, 1997 (Thursday).

The issue that you will be reviewing includes the parking plan, outdoor dining guidelines and the ordinance text amendment. In addition, the resolution authorizing an application to the Coastal Commission for the outdoor dining program will be considered.
