PROPOSITION 223

SCHOOL SPENDING LIMITS ON ADMINISTRATION

Recommendation:

That the City Council determine whether or not to take a position on Proposition 223.

Background:

This item was before you at your last meeting and a copy of Proposition 223 was requested before a decision was made on taking a position on the issue. The proposition is attached along with a fact sheet. If you wish to take a position, a resolution will be prepared for your consideration.

The League of California Cities' Board of Directors has taken a position in opposition of Proposition 223.
