MEMORANDUM

SUBJECT: Minutes of the regular meetings of January 25, 2000

Item 9.a. - Request to discuss airport committee

 

Please review the action shown for item 9.a. (the request by Mayor Pro Tem Reviczky to discuss airport committee) in the minutes of the City Council's regular meeting of January 25, 2000 and, if necessary, restate the motion to ensure a clear understanding of the action taken and to clarify staff's expected level of involvement, if any, with regard to advertising for committee members or with the committee itself once it is formed.

The action shown is based on my notes and a quick review of the audio tape with regard to the formation of the committee but it was not clear at the time the vote was taken what staff's role would be with regard to this committee. If a restatement of the motion is deemed necessary for accuracy/clarification purposes, it would be appropriate to remove the minutes from the consent calendar for discussion later in the meeting.
