The Historical Society has withdrawn the request to place a lifeguard tower on the Community Center lawn.

Staff will send monthly status reports to the press to document the progress of Valley Park construction.

While Valley Park is closed, Commissioners request that the trees be pruned.

Commissioner Francis suggested that staff place an item on the next agenda regarding the possibility of lighting the ocean adjacent to the Pier as an aesthetic improvement.
