  • a. Letter from Susan K. Christensen to remove volleyball court located at 3108 The Strand.


6. Matters for Commission Consideration

Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Commission: 1. Review the attached staff report dated November 12, 1997; and 2. Determine whether to approve the construction of a concrete backboard with the renovation of the Kelly Courts.



Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Commission: 1. Approve the request from Bay Cities Surf Club to hold a surf competition and "Aloha Days" celebration on Saturday, September 26, 1998; and 2. Approve the event contract; and 3. Forward fee waiver, funding requests and the event contract to City Council for consideration



Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Commission: 1. Discuss the reconfiguration of courts on 17th and 18th Streets as presented by John Wallace. 2. Approve the new north/south configuration of the two courts. 3. Do not approve the 45 degree angle configuration for the 17th and 18th Street Courts.
