Quiet Nights is Measure "B" on the ballot in the Nov. 5, 2013 Hermosa Beach municipal election.
Please Vote Yes on Measure "B"
Measure "B" proposes a fairer balance between the business community and the residential community, through a modest reduction in the late night hours of downtown businesses: One hour less on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and two hours less Sunday thru Wednesday. The reduced hours are to take effect gradually, through April 2019, to give businesses time to adjust.
The idea for Measure "B" came from our councilmembers, who over the last several years have said, repeatedly, that downtown hours need to be reduced but, ironically, have now taken an "oppose" position on Measure "B."
