    1. Resolution P.C. 01-37 recommending that City Council approve a Precise Development Plan/Planned Development Permit no. 01-10, certify the Final Environmental Impact Report for the Tycom submarine fiber optic cable project and adopt a mitigation monitoring program, the findings and facts in support of findings as required by the California Environmental Quality Act and a statement of overriding considerations relating to air quality, and finding that the lease agreement for Tycom’s use of City owned property is consistent with the City’s General Plan.

    2. Resolution P.C. 01-38 (PDF file) approving a Variance to allow a greater than 250 square feet addition to a nonconforming dwelling with only one parking space and to allow a greater than 100% increase in valuation while maintaining nonconforming side and rear yards and nonconforming open space at 55 5th Court.

    3. Resolution P.C. 01-39 approving a Conditional Use Permit to allow on-sale alcohol in the guest rooms (mini-bars) and in the meeting rooms in conjunction with events for hotel guests at the Beach House Inn at 1300 The Strand.
